Vevey - Mont-Pèlerin Funicular
In the heart of the Lavaux vineyard terraces!
Between the lake and the vineyard!
The terraced vineyards of the Lavaux have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007. One of the best ways to discover them is to take the funicular. Departing from Vevey Funi, it heads straight towards Chardonne. After a 1,500 m ride, the funicular arrives at Mont-Pèlerin. From there, it is possible to reach the Plein Ciel radio tower by foot. The reward for this 45-minute walk is a 360-degree panoramic view. On the way down, a stop at Chardonne is a must to enjoy a glass of Chasselas.
