The Plein Ciel lift whisks visitors up 65 metres above the ground to the top of the telecom tower on Mont-Pèlerin (altitude: 1080 metres), where they can enjoy superb 360° panoramic views. Open from Easter to November, the viewing platform reveals sweeping views encompassing Lake Geneva, the Alps, and the vineyards. It’s a real change of scenery not far from town for those prepared to make a little effort! The tower is a 30-minute walk from the car park and a one-and-a-half-hour walk from Vevey-Mont-Pèlerin funicular station. The elevator remains closed in case of strong wind or bad weather.
